French mathematician Jules Henri Poincaré (1854-1912) said: "A scientist does not study nature because it is useful for him; A scientist studies nature because it fascinates him, he fascinates it because it is beautiful. If nature were not beautiful, it would not be worth studying, and if nature were not worth studying, life would not be worth living. Of course I do not mean the beauty that affects our senses-the beauty of composition and appearance; Nor do I want to belittle such beauty, although it has nothing to do with science; I mean the beauty which comes from the harmonious order among the constituent parts of nature, and which pure knowledge is able to know.'
