Description

The given route connects Pshavi to the Gudamakari Valley. The trail starts in the village of Migriaulta near a motor road and ascends toward the village, passing through its streets before joining a serpentine forest dirt road leading toward the shepherds’ huts and the Ukantba Pass. After reaching the huts, the path continues upward along the dirt road. Before reaching a certain turn on the way to the Ukantba Pass, the trail veers to the right, transitioning to a footpath.

Following this path, we cross a small pass and soon see the village of Lutkhubi, toward which we continue our descent. The trail descends through alpine slopes, offering views of the village throughout the descent. Upon reaching Lutkhubi, we continue along the motor road toward the village of Tsinamkhari, which lies on the main motor road of the Gudamakari Valley. This marks the end of the given route.

Please note that drinking water is only available in the villages along the route. It is also important to be aware that you may encounter wild animals in the surrounding areas, such as bears or wolves. The brown bear species commonly found in Georgia is not typically aggressive unless it feels threatened or has cubs nearby. According to local information, the water found along the trails is considered safe for drinking.
